I created a Recipe!

For the first time ever, I dared to attempt creating a recipe from scratch. Charles and I have been cooking fiends every night this week, and with so many successful recipies fresh in my head, I felt up to the challenge of creating my own. So, here it is and it comes highly recommended by the both of us.

Snappy Crab
With Lemon-Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

1 Red Snapper fillet
1/4lb Crab
1 Lemon worth of zest
Chives
Parsley
Green Onion
Lemon Pepper
Pepper
1/4tsp Salt
1/2tb Butter
1cup Milk or Cream
1/2cup Chicken broth
4tsp Cornstarch
1/4th Cup Parmesan
Spaghetti

Need 1 skillet, 1 medium sauce pan, and 1 large sauce pan for the spaghetti.

Serves 2-3

Cut snapper fillet into bite sized pieces, sprinkle them with salt and lemon pepper and cook covered in skillet with butter until white and flaky. Set aside covered.

While spaghetti is cooking, make the sauce. Whisk together corn starch and chicken broth in a separate cup before pouring into a medium sauce pan. Add the Lemon zest, Milk, salt, and pepper. Heat and stir until thick, then add the parmesan, chives, and parsley. Add a dash of lemon pepper.

After the sauce and spaghetti are done, let them sit while you tear apart the crab meat. Add crab meat and snipped green onion to fish skillet and heat.

Note: Capers would be great in this recipe too.

Serve sauce and fish over spaghetti with lemon and parsley for garnish.

    what is the red stuff? bell peppers or tomatoes? or am I missing something?

    The red stuff is crab meat 😀 So, I guess I should be looking for internships with the Food Network!

    RE TV Food: If Lauren wants to, we could concievably do this on a small scale (I still have all my video equipment from my film-major days, and there are several video-hosting sites on the internet). So it is doable!
